Jean Luc began kissing Agnes on her neck. Soft light kisses before he moved upward towards her ear. He kissed her on the tiny tip before breathing heavily in her ear. “You have no idea how much I want you right now.”

Agnes didn’t say anything. She continued to fold her mistress’s undergarments.

Jean Luc stepped back a bit and started at her for awhile. “Agnes?”

“Yes, my lord?” She asked without looking up from her work.

“What’s wrong?” He asked fondling her breast.

“Nothing, my lord, everything is always the same,” Agnes said in a slightly bitter voice.

Jean pinched her nipple before looking up at her again.

“Is there a problem with our arrangement?”

Agnes stopped her folding and looked up at Jean Luc.

“If I had known that I would just be a mistress, I would have let Gilles send me to a brothel,” She said exasperated.

Jean Luc frowned. “But I treat you well here, Agnes and my wife is a generous mistress, is she not?”

“Of course, my lord, but I can hardly look the lady in her face without blushing. She knows you are the father of my two children. She knows I come to your quarters at night. I don’t know how she puts up with me.”

“Charlotte and I married for political gain. She doesn’t love me and I don’t love her,” he said.

Agnes sighed “And you don’t love me either.”

Jean Luc growled and pulled her to him. She looked up at him surprised.

“Do not tell me how I feel, Agnes.”

He kissed her fiercely. Agnes wrapped her arms around his neck and he grabbed her by the waist.

When his lips left hers, he stepped back slightly and looked into her dazed eyes.

“I have strong feelings for you, Agnes. Of that I am sure.”

Agnes nodded. Jean Luc brushed a stray strand of the auburn hair from her face and then smiled at her.

“Will that do for now?” He asked huskily.

“Yes, my lord,” She answered. She didn’t know what exactly she wanted from him, but for now she was content to be with him in any way she possibly could.

Agnes seems unhappy, no matter what she says. I guess she has no choice. :(
