"Sometimes I miss everyone..." Hexi muttered. "Especially Aster and Novia..."
"One day you'll find them again, I'm sure of it!"
"... Maybe..." Hexi had a half-smile on her face. "Would be nice." She pondered. "What would it be like if we swapped places?"
"Oh! Like I'm the one who lost their friends instead of you?"
"Yeah..."
"Let's see, I think it would be like..."
A blue moon sat overhead as Chip wandered around. He looked up to gaze at its beauty...
... and forgot to look both ways while crossing the street, ending up with him being hit by a car.
"... Why did you just kill yourself off?"
"Don't they consider dying to be the 'Big Sleep'? The 'Forever Nap'? I mean, I go here whenever I'm asleep in my world, so..."

When Chip awoke, he was in a town square.
"I just got hit by a car! Is this heaven?"
"Would you really realize that fast?"
"... Would I even die that fast?"
"This is the Trails of Parchment, kiddo!" Said the Narrator, not to be confused with the Chip that is telling the story.
"Wow! I get to go on cool adventures like Groff? Cool! How do I go home to tell them?"

Chip visibly deflated, like a balloon that you just bit because the zoomies got you at that exact moment.
"Is zoomies... fun for you?"
"Yeah, I climb up the walls!"
"I'LL FIND A WAY!" Chip yelled. "JUST YOU WAIT!"
And he found a way! The end!
Hexi chuckled. "I gave up a long time ago..."
"I'd never give up!" Chip bragged. "I'd try everything! Just to see my friends again!"
Hexi smiled. Something about Chip was just... It reminded her of Aster.
... Is he still looking for me? Hexi pondered No, surely not. Even Aster gives up sometimes...
