A changeling wishes to be a human.
So he burns and sears his throat
choking on human words
and still remains a changeling.
This woman pretends he is only a man.
She pretends the best she can.
Their father wished for a human son.
Yet this changeling is not the one…
But a flower blossoming
into the beginning of its life.
The changeling lessening strife.
He does not need to speak anymore.
She can spin in robes evermore!
True blue fades into the yellow sun!
Just by getting there, mage,
You have won!
Be yourself and have your fun!
And so, with a flowing robe,
And castle as humble abode.
The studious mage is like a cat.
But a changeling is just like that.
