They say that Japan is the perfect place for retired elders. So it's no wonder that Hikaru and I made the decision to move back to Kyoto once our girls were out and on their own. It was hard to leave everybody behind in Seattle but I can't lie, coming back to my second home felt like a warm hug waiting to be received. The only thing better?
