Notes: This is her first day teaching in Atlanta.
Charlotte hesitated just outside of the orientation room. She only had one chance to make a first impression and she could not blow it. Not again.
She could go in quietly, sit in the corner, keep her head down and her mouth shut. It had served her well before. But before was not now, and before hadn’t ended well, had it?
Her sister wouldn’t go in quietly.
Right. She took a deep breath, straightened her spine and shoulders. Remembered what Miranda said when she asked about confidence- just remember how good you are.
You’re flawless.
She pushed the door open.
