Melanie knows she can’t handle her family. She has to leave, for everyone’s sake, Aaron’s not least.
Mama’s gonna sing you a lullaby
Her sweet little son, who she loves more than life, deserves a better mother. And he won’t even have her, poor excuse that she is, until she gets her head on straight.
So hush little baby, don’t you cry
But she’ll come back eventually. She swears it to herself, and to him. If Aaron needs her, no matter what it costs, she’ll be there.
