Ecru 14: Who?
Author: Kat
Title: Who?
Story: Shine Like It Does
Colors: Ecru 14 (claim)
Supplies and Materials: Graffiti (Lilith Faire Day 4: Therefore I Am, Billie Eilish), miniature, novelty beads (such a hypocrite)
Word Count: 100
Rating: PG
Summary: Miranda reunites with an alleged friend.
Warning: none
Notes: If you would like the fuller story of Miranda and Erica, it's here.
It took Miranda a moment to remember who Erica Sullivan even was. Her name brought up a vague feeling of rage, but the pale skin and strangely orange hair didn’t ring any bells until Erica added, “We were friends in high school?”
Ah. Yes.
Charlotte, withdrawn and silent. Jack, over dishes, talking about bullying. A well-aimed field hockey ball disguised as an accident. And here was Erica Sullivan again, pretending to be important, and her own little entourage of wannabes, all of them looking at her hopefully. Though Erica’s bright smile was faltering now.
Miranda smiled. “I’m sorry, who are you?”
