Summary: Gina meets Vanessa.

Notes: I knew something like this would happen with the chalk.


She wore fishnets, and a red dress split to her hip, and dark smoky eyes full of promises that made Gina press her legs together. She leaned on the bar beside Gina's stool, lifted a cigarette to red, red lips, and smiled.

"Hi," she said, exhaling a puff of smoke. "All by yourself?"

Even her voice was amazing, dark chocolate over knives. Gina licked her lips. "Yes."

"Shame," she said, stubbed the cigarette out, and trailed her fingers up Gina's arm. "A girl like you shouldn't be alone."

She was fire, and right now, Gina was happy to get burned.

GO AWAY VANESSA.

But this is gorgeously written, all the powerful imagery in such a small space--I especially love "dark chocolate over knives", and that last line! Wonderful job. It gave me the shivers.
