Supplies and Materials: graffiti (Lilith Faire Day 4a: Second Stage), canvas
Word Count: 310
Rating: PG-13
Characters: Dallu, Taz

Notes: Constructive criticism welcome, as always.
“Up here.” Taz takes his hand and hauls him up the last few rocks, to what she has sworn up and down is her absolute favorite place in the Islands.
He’s been her navigator for a while now, and it wasn’t long after that that she took him to her bed, but this is the first time they’ve spent off the Glory, back on the Islands themselves, where they can have some level of privacy.
Not that privacy has ever been too much a concern of theirs. Navigators aren’t part of the regular chain of command on the ships, and besides, they’re far from the only pair to seek each other out off-duty.
But it’s nice. Having Taz all to himself, if only for a little while.
There’s a stand of trees, a still pool, and a view of the beach and the ocean that is just…
“I get it,” he says, turning back to her with a grin. “It’s beautiful.”
“Yeah,” she says, then pulls him closer for a kiss.
He smiles against her mouth, then kisses her back, wrapping his arms around her where they feel just right.
Her hands migrate down, tugging at his waistband in a silent question that he answers with another kiss, and the rest of the afternoon is spent appreciating something other than the spectacular view.
It’s sunset by the time they’re done, lying naked side by side at the edge of the pool. She plays with a few strands of his hair, and he smiles.
“I’m glad you brought me up here,” he says.
“’Course,” she says, then kisses him again, softly. “The real important people in my life get to come here.”
He blinks a little, then flushes, and silently rests his head against her shoulder.
Even if he doesn’t have the words for it, he thinks she understands his answer.
