Candy Green #2 [Divide & Rule]
Name: Will Suffice
Story: Divide & Rule/Heroes of the Revolution
Colors: Candy Green #2 (Chocolate)
Supplies and Styles: Graffiti (June Challenge) + Eraser + Miniature + Pastels (also for
tic_tac_woe square "Ice Age/Endless Winter") + Tapestry
Word Count: 100
Rating: Teen
Warnings: Apocalypse, implied impending doom.
Notes: Edward Iveson/Julia Graves; Apocalypse AU (from the giant list of AUs).
Summary: It ends in ice.
***
The fire’s final embers died. Julia shifted closer to Edward. She’d thought this couldn’t happen – someone would stop it, help would come. The end had come instead.
Edward pressed a square of chocolate into her hand.
Julia stared out the frosted window at blurry, fatal snow. “Could be worse.” Her breath hung in the cold air.
He tightened his hold. “Julia.”
“Ice and snow – and you and me.” She leant against him; the wool of his winter coat as comforting as the taste of chocolate. She slid her hand into his and laced their fingers together. “It’s not so bad.”
