"I need a favor," Katie said, settling in her rocking chair.
"I'm fine, Christopher, how are you," he said, but he was laughing. "Sure, what do you need?"
"From Miranda, actually," Katie said. "Or Isobel, if she's interested." She explained the situation with Naomi's job and that wretched volunteer, and ended, "I was hoping one of them could, well, teach him a lesson."
"I think we can do better than that," Christopher said. "Come over for coffee. Bring Naomi. We'll work something out."
