Skylight 9, Paris Green 14: Just As It Was
Author: Kat
Title: Just As It Was
Story: Shine Like It Does
Colors: Skylight 9 (Neon lights), Paris green 14 (Even more impressive by night than by day) with shadowsong's paint by numbers (Jewelry sparkling like stars in the sky.)
Supplies and Materials: Graffiti (Short Month Short Works), miniature, eraser (Tudor AU), brush (a new wave), stickers (“What if, today, we were grateful for everything.” – Charlie Brown), novelty beads (jewelry)
Word Count: 100
Rating: PG
Summary: Charlotte at Queen Mary's coronation.
Warning: none.
Notes: I will probably expand this one someday.
Charlotte had forgotten how court could shine.
She shone too in her rich black dress, silver and sapphires circling her throat. But Mary-- Her Majesty-- shone the brightest. Every inch the queen in purple and gold, her hair loose beneath her crown, Mary presided over her court with a benevolent smile.
Everything was as it was when they were girls: fine dresses, lovely jewels, people bowing, saluting Mary as queen, and soon, England would again rest safely in the bosom of the church.
If Mary's eyes shone with something darker--
It didn't matter.
Everything would be just as it was.

I just had to laugh at myself, because I totally forgot when I was trying to explain Henry VII icons, that it's also Edward. I mean, not, but this began life as a fake old TV show meme and they're the same actor, because that's how I came across him. I was going through all the 1970s BBC Tudor serials!
