Summary: This is Leah's third city in as many days.
Warning: none.
Notes: This is not Ivy and Gina's daughter Leah, but Gina's daughter with an abusive man.

It's eleven PM. This is Leah's third city in as many days, and all she wants to do is get to the hotel and go to bed. She leans her head against the taxi window, watching the raindrops divide and reunite as they slip down the chilly glass, watching the streetlights drift by.

No one is waiting for her. There are no angry voices in her voicemail, no scathing emails lurking in her inbox. When she reaches the hotel, she can lock the door and be alone. Be safe.

The cab's wheels swish through a puddle. Leah closes her eyes.

Very nice (or not, but you know what I mean).
