Warm Light 3, Rain Cloud 6, Lapis Lazuli 13: things unsaid
Author: Kat
Title: things unsaid
Story: In the Heart
Colors: Warm light 3 (Freedom is being alone, I fear liberation), rain cloud 6 (I think I have a cold), lapis lazuli 13 (lackluster)
Supplies and Materials: Seed beads, tapestry (warm light/seed beads), miniature, brush (rowel: to vex or trouble), modeling clay (boredom), glitter (Dor, Nathalie Handal)
Word Count: 100
Rating: G
Summary: It's not that anything's really wrong.
Warnings: none.
Notes: Ok so this is the wife of the best friend of the half-sister of Olivia's stepmother. Everyone got that?
The thing is, there's nothing really wrong.
Duncan is a good husband, thoughtful and kind; he makes dinner every other night and does his half of the chores. They have a nice house, she has a good job, and of course their daughter is perfect. And yet Leila feels dissatisfied, somehow.
She can remember being so in love with Duncan that it took her breath away every time she looked at him. She can remember waking up excited to go to work, being thrilled with her house.
Everything used to be so wonderful.
She must be coming down with something.
