This was probably a bad idea.

Isshiri's mother was a high-profile politician. If she dated him, that would mean all eyes on her. And Telri, whose color-shifting species was vanishingly rare in Human space, drew more enough than attention on her own.

But he was so kind, and clever, and handsome, and had that smile that made her go weak in the knees. She thought--she was more and more certain--that, somewhere along the line, she'd somehow fallen in love.

Telri had never been one to throw caution to the winds. But Isshiri, she thought, just might be worth the risk.

This is a really sweet sentiment, done in a nice, quick bite. I'd love to know more about Isshiri and his species, and I'd love to hear more drabbles about this pairing.

Oooh, now there's something to fiddle around with if you need to finish off any leftover colours! I've got the Feradar journal open but I'm not sure what the etiquette is on reading through folks' personal journals, vs the stuff they've added to communities specific to sharing. I was thinking of going through all the rainbowfic entries I'd missed first, to balance out all the writing I'm dumping in here, but if there's anything you'd specifically suggest to read first, let me know!
