This was probably a bad idea.
Isshiri's mother was a high-profile politician. If she dated him, that would mean all eyes on her. And Telri, whose color-shifting species was vanishingly rare in Human space, drew more enough than attention on her own.
But he was so kind, and clever, and handsome, and had that smile that made her go weak in the knees. She thought--she was more and more certain--that, somewhere along the line, she'd somehow fallen in love.
Telri had never been one to throw caution to the winds. But Isshiri, she thought, just might be worth the risk.

I really, really wish I could XD I have not done nearly enough with the in SPACE AU, let alone about Telri's species. I should do that at some point...

There's more about them--I think I've written them mostly in canon and the Urban Fantasy AU. Isshiri is actually human/a cyborg in this AU. Sadly, I haven't worked out a whole lot about Telri's species XD
