Tsuna had heard it all, in all its variations.
Don't you want a real job?
What about having a family?
Your career will be over when your peers are just getting started.
The sorts of questions artistic kids had been getting forever, and that almost bothered her more than the questions themselves. It was the thirtieth century, for crying out loud! Art was a vital, if intangible, part of human life. You'd think people would've learned that by now.
Yes, it involved some sacrifices--putting other parts of her life, like starting a family, on hold. And, yeah, she knew her career had a clearly visible expiration date. It would be a lot shorter than most other artists', even. But since when did a thing have to last forever to be worth doing?
Whatever. Tsuna had made her choice. She had her life planned out, whether or not the well-meaning adults in her life realized she'd thought it through. She was going to be a ballet dancer. No matter how many people told her it was a bad idea.
