Summary: Anna and Delia and Chiara.

Shade dappled along Delia's back and up along her arms, over the baby's belly, and over Anna's hands as she disentangled her finger from the baby's hand. Chiara had just fallen asleep, her tiny mouth slack.
"She's so precious," she said, brushing the lightest fingertip over the baby's dark hair.
Delia laughed, quietly. "And finally asleep," she said, then leaned up on her elbows, over Chiara, and kissed Anna, long and lingering. "We're finally alone," she whispered, when they broke apart.
Alone among the rows of vines, shade and sun striping across them-- it was what Anna clung to, afterwards.
