Word Count: 100
Rating: G
Summary: Carlos and Avery on a date.
Warnings: none.
Notes: none.
"It's too cold to go wading!" Avery yelled, standing up on the dunes where the spray couldn't get her. Carlos, that adorable idiot, was ankle-deep in ocean, laughing like it was fun.
"No, it isn't!" he yelled back, voice carrying over surf and wind. "You Southerners just have thin blood!"
"Thin blood?!" She skittered down the dunes, sand sliding under her. "I'll show you thin blood, Claro!"
He yelped when her thrown rock splashed him, and kicked water back at her.
They were both dripping and shivering at the end, but at least they had fun keeping each other warm.
