Supplies and Styles: canvas (Haru is around 16-17 here), graffiti (Rhythm Gymnastics), stain ("You must learn from the mistakes of others. You can't possibly live long enough to make them all yourself." -Sam Levenson), seed beads
Title: Will it ever change?

Summary: Haru knows he's going to leave one day. He just wished he knew when that day would come along.
Warnings: child abuse, depressive thoughts
Notes: Hi! Long time no see am I right? I can happily say it's my first new piece as a college graduate yay! I saw the challenge for the Olympics and I wanted to join! I really missed my guys. This is Haru, he's a shadow demon that didn't have a very good upbringing. Since he's speaking up the loudest I wanted to use him. Enjoy!
Another night, another black eye from my mother
Who is still upset that I’m not her former lover
At least my sister and brother are safe
Even if this old blanket makes me chafe
But my sister made it, it makes her happy
So I’ll deal with it, for her I’m sappy
I look to the moon for any kind of answer
Something to help me divert the next disaster
I hate that I’m stuck here
Living day by day in constant fear
One day I know I’ll be free
I’ll be in a place where she can’t find me
I just wish I knew when that day would be
