She made a thousand mistakes through fairy tales, learning her lessons from the great girls from grim stories. Little Red, Gretel, even those two girls who go down the well. She stumbles and learns and trial and errors through the words on the page.

But now she's staring at the world with bloodshot eyes.

And she's forgotten all the hings she's been taught, all the stories she's been told.

So when the stranger offers her his hand and says "Come into the dark with me."

She forgets to be afraid.
