MEME FOR PRESIDENT! [41. Come at me bro.]
Author:
novel_machinist
Story:Kizier and Tharii
Prompt/Challenge:Vote Meme! [41. Come at me bro.]
Rating: PG-13
Word Count:278
Warnings: None
Notes: Sento needs to get out for a while and this person looks like he'll be fun. Bit 3 out of 5 for how a very wealthy Kizier meets a not so wealthy Tharii. Tropes will abound.
Sento didn't need to follow his dejected guests far; he knew that young, unbonded Tharii would be waiting out in the public courtyard. Bond-Attached sex workers were common outside these gatherings, Tharii too young or too wild to become Lifesaver Bonders made good money, Sento was sure.
He noticed one gaping at him and turned his head slowly to take the other man in. He was short, but very regal in appearance, messy hair and dark skin, well shaped shoulders. "What are you looking at?" This one probably made a killing, looking like he walked off the cover of one of those trashy romance novels Sento would never admit to having read.
"You seem upset." Dashing's smile wavered slightly, but not enough to be of comment.
"A little."
Dashing then looked around the proceedings before speaking. "These parties are so antiquated, don't you think?"
"About as antiquated as the idea of be being unstable until someone owns me." Sento was in no mood to play nice, but if this attractive Tharii wanted his time, he wouldn't be adverse to giving it. Provided the young man could deal with the fact that Sento was completely done putting on the face of a proper Kizier. "I'll show them unstable."
Something about that comment must have interested Dashing, who introduced himself as Gabriel. "Want to go somewhere more interesting?"
"I won't be an issue?"
Gabriel shook his head, "I'll keep any aggressive Tharii off you." That line probably worked like a charm or more timid Kizier, his just dishevelled enough appearance combined with his muscles almost rabbit-like brown eyes had certainly gotten Sento's attention.
Sento chuckled. "I don't need your protection."

Yes. This. All of this.
Also, having read it the second time, I totally snickered at the fact even their first conversation is sort of hinting at a bond and it's just... eee XD.
