Warnings: Darya is...not a nice person. She has questionable thought processes
Notes: Hi everyone! Meet Darya, one of Nate's coworkers and kind of a not great person. She has her moments of being okay but for the most part, she isn' exactly pleasant to be around unless she wants something.

When Darya finds out about Nate and his new boy, she is thrilled. She grins like a predator, wrapping her hands around her Irish coffee as she overhears him talk to the bartender. He's only telling the man that the new boy exists but that's enough to peak her interest.

Clearly it's time to pay a visit to her dear, dear friend's apartment and see who's hiding there.

She doesn't go immediately though, choosing instead to wait for a time when Nate has a job going on. She knows he'll be gone for at least three days and that gives her more than enough time to get to know the new toy one on one.

The toy who, more thank likely, has a name. However, he'll have to earn her using it and she's not exactly won over easily. Besides, who knows how long he'll be around for and she hates to waste time learning a name that won't matter in a month.

Getting into the apartment is easy enough, Nate's security is an utter joke. not that it matter to her. None of them are very attached to the places they reside, though some of their group has more protection than others.

The new addition is asleep on the couch, the TV playing some ridiculous sitcom and a laptop balanced on his chest as he dozes. She could not have asked for anything better, though she would have appreciated a little challenge.

There are a few ways she an approach this, a nice easy wake up, a scare or she could pretend she had always been there the entire time. Other ways come to mind too but those are the three that jump at her first.

After a moment of debate, she steps closer, reaching into her bag and pulling out a smaller plastic one with a chloroform soaked rag waiting inside.

Never leave home without the essentials, she says to herself. You'll never know when you need something this handy.

For a brief moment, she has a pang of something akin to guilt but it goes away as soon as she's shoving the rag in his face and holding it down, keeping it there even as he wakes up, fights and goes out again.

Shaking her head, Darya starts binding his hands and feet, grinning the whole time.

This is even more delightful than she hoped.

Now, that is a welcome. Not a welcome I'd want for myself, but one I enjoyed reading about because Darya is just /that happy/ XD.
