'Verse: Lux
Colors: Blue Opal #12. Timeless, Tuscan Red #13. Se non è vero, è ben trovato./Even if it's not true, it makes a good story., Jade #1. This morning's scene is good and fine/Long rain has not harmed the land
Supplies and Materials: photography, miniature, graffiti (12 days of Christmas, Day 3), bichromatic, retouch, pastels (my current gen + romance card O2 "cloud watching"),
Word Count: 100
Rating: G
Characters: Rubika
Warnings: Nope
Notes: Constructive criticism welcome, as always.
What Rubika loves most about Earth is its sky.
She grew up on Charon, which didn't have an atmosphere except in the tightly sealed constructed environments where the humans lived. The sky was artificial--or dark, dominated by Pluto on the horizon, surrounded by cool, slow-moving constellations.
But on Earth, the sky is a riot of color, of movement. It's alive. There are clouds--real clouds, and sunlight, and birds and trees and dashing gusts of wind.
When she visits Earth, she always makes sure to find a couple hours to sprawl on the grass and just watch the multi-colored, ever-changing sky.
