Blue Opal #18, Aurora #23
Name: Greenling
Story: All Great Things
Colors: Blue Opal #18 (Compromise), Aurora #23 (Heretofore)
Supplies and Styles: Miniature x2, Novelty Beads ("I have seen the others/and I have discovered/that this fight is not worth fighting." - The General, Dispatch)
Word Count: 86 + 99
Rating: G
Warnings: Nope.
Summary: Sleep: for some, a precious bastion of comfort and relaxation. The rest of us don't live alone. Dmitry/Peace.
Comments, criticism, and questions are all appreciated.
Peace was warm pretty much all the time. Dmitry couldn't feel guilty about shoving his hands under the other man's arms after a long cold day, or all that much about stealing covers. Peace griped at first, but he stopped bringing it up after a while. There was something about Dmitry behind him, nuzzling into the back of his neck, that he didn't want to disturb. No one else had ever done that. No one else had ever held him, instead of the other way around.

Dmitry had come to accept the eternal war in his brain between introversion and growing up in a large family. When Peace moved in, he had to admit it would be nice to sleep near someone else again. Then he learned Peace slept with the TV on. When TV stopped being readily available, he found some horrible battery-powered star-projecter that made humming noises. They traded off sleeping light for a while. Dmitry never did ask how the hell a werewolf had trouble sleeping. Lots of things never made it out of his mouth.
He learned to live with earplugs.
