shipwreck_light I'm going to introduce her to the rest of my JoR gang through doing Milk Bottle prompts.
Tonight we meet Segovia and Grevilea. Segovia is a little lonely for people to engage with but he's not terribly upset about it.
Sometimes, in his spare time, Segovia would brew a cup of tea, grab a book, sit back in the more populated areas of the manor and just watch.
It was fascinating really, the antics and the games that were played all proved to be absolutely wonderful entertainment. It was like a curiosity, a side dhow, something that probably shouldn't be as entertaining as it is and yet.
Of course he could be just as guilty of being entertainment. Sometimes he wonders if the kittens watch him in the same way he watches them, or if Dogbane and Henbane sit back together and laugh at everything that goes on.
He's sure they do, after all, it's terribly funny at times.
And sometimes he wants to believe that he will find a person or two who he might find agreeable on a long term, just so he can share the moments of humor. Someone more than an easy fuck, or Grevilea who was far too flighty sometimes to be proper company.
Every now and again he would join Hyacinth, finding his demeanor suitable and easy to exist around. They'l settle and idly trade the stories they've collected so far but it's not quite what he wants, Hyacinth is a good companion but not engaging enough for him. Their relationship is a passive, almost boring one.
He suspects he should try an reach out more, engage with everyone in a way that he wants to be engaged, it just seems like so much work. Putting for the effort to be around others and play the social game gets tiring.
No, in the end he finds himself so much more comfortable with a hun in his hands and a mission on his mind. Maybe that's all he gets, maybe he will be alone. That's not too bad though, it could be worse
