Story: Generally Shatterverse somewhere in the timeline I'm not sure of
Colors: Rose #24 (One of the most tragic things I know about human nature is that all of us tend to put off living. We are all dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon-instead of enjoying the roses blooming outside our windows today.), Sherry #7 (Had all my Life but been Mistake /Just rectified — in Thee)
Supplies and Styles: Photography, Glitter, Other (Have a random shippy song)

Warnings: The vaguest possible mention of dissociation, but it's there.
Summary: So uh, Rowan and Jaymie happened, that was kinda unexpected. On the plus side this means Jaymie's going to actually get written back in somewhere and I have more excuse to give screentime to Rowan who is technically one of the main characters. But anyway have some cuteness from Jaymie's POV.

Sie was maybe an inch taller than he was when sie stood up straight, which was a little surprising when that finally happened. It got him thinking, of boots with heels, russet leather with strawberries and thorns embroidered all around.
Too much? The thought made him blush, and worse when sie noticed.
It took a few tries, between the two of them. Sie was all moonlight and green fire, never able to leave well enough alone. Someone who'd gone through the darkness and spat in its face, unshakeable. He had other people's secrets, and fear like ice.
(Neither of them had wanted that sort of thing with anybody at the moment. That didn't help.)
Years of hiding didn't fade away in the memory of strawberry-blond hair fluttering in the sea wind. Or in piercing green wolf eyes. Or in just sitting quietly, existing terrifyingly in the present. Or anything else. It helped.
He taught hir to stand up straight all the time, to laugh loud, and to lie. And that seemed to be all right.
