Octarine #11, French Grey #1, Rose #7
Name: shadowsong26
Story: First Impressions
'Verse: Feredar
Colors: Octarine #11. A marriage is always made up of two people who are prepared to swear that only the other one snores., French Grey #1. When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth., Rose #7. The rose speaks of love silently, in a language known only to the heart.
Supplies and Materials: photography, miniature, canvas (963 FY), seed beads
Word Count: 100
Rating: PG
Characters: Amassa, Ineku
Warnings: Don't think so.
Notes: Constructive criticism welcome, as always.
Amassa found his niece’s choice of consort somewhat surprising.
True, the young man was reasonably handsome; wealthy and intelligent; a physician; from a non-mage line, theoretically reducing the risk of quicklight children. He seemed neither cowed by Kesshare, nor cold like her, but rather kind--perhaps that sweetness, so unlike her, was the surprise.
But whatever Kesshare saw in him was enough for her to marry almost indecently young. And Amassa found no fault in him, and knew there was no persuading her to delay.
So he wished them luck, leaving them in Minalu’s capable hands to plan the wedding.

She pretty much did, and on purpose, too! Part of why she picked Ineku was because she knew he made up for her flaws, especially since she planned on having children, and she would need them to grow up happy and healthy and knew she would not be a good mother without serious help.
