Octarine 15: English
Author: Kat
Title: English
Story: In the Heart
Colors: Octarine 15 (Multiple exclamation marks are a sure sign of a diseased mind.)
Supplies and Materials: Miniature, novelty beads (this image), brush (parse)
Word Count: 100
Rating: PG
Summary: Gina vs. bad grammar.
Warnings: none.
Notes: Okay, back to bed with me. This is what happens when you check the supplies right before going to sleep.
Gina had always been good with words, and she did know that it was unfair to expect everyone to have the same competency that she did. Most mistakes were easy to understand. English was an awful language to learn, first language or not.
But some things just drove her to a tooth-grinding, red-seeing rage. She was a senior editor; she should only be seeing the best work an author could possibly put on her desk. Every typo, every it's/its confusion, every wrong use of you're...
Ivy always knew that she'd been editing too long when her eye started to twitch.

It's when I see things like that on Facebook that I wish I could grammar check everyone. One of the new things I've seen is 'thankyou' and I just want to tell everyone it's two works.

When your paying job is to nitpick people, it must be so much worse. More work!
