Octarine 10, Spring Green 12: Theology
Author: Kat
Title: Theology
Story: In the Heart
Colors: Octarine 10 (Just because it's not nice doesn't mean it's not miraculous.), spring green 12 (there's no time for doubt right now)
Supplies and Materials: Miniature, seed beads, brush (parse)
Word Count: 100
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Even priests have doubts.
Warnings: mention of death and child abandonment
Notes: Father Arnott returns! As do the school subjects.
Father Arnott saw it over and over and over again in his life; God's grace, and His wrath, and how difficult it was, sometimes, to tell the difference.
He baptized a child, once, and learned later that the baby's grandparents were killed shortly after, when a tree fell on their car just three miles from the church. A parishoner's adopted son had to be abandoned before he could find his new and loving home. A carelessly dropped piece of paper led to the death of thousands.
The Lord worked in mysterious ways; all Father Arnott could do was have faith.
