Patriarch Purple #13, French Grey #28, Clean Again #3
Name: shadowsong26
Story: Appearances
'Verse: Feredar
Colors: Patriarch Purple #13. Chicago, French Grey #28. I play the game for the game's own sake., Clean Again #3. Everlasting Ends
Supplies and Materials: photography, miniature, canvas, brush (captious), acrylic, oils, glue ("There's no need to draw attention to your efforts; just make sure your actions are aligned with your values to achieve the best results.")
Word Count: 100
Rating: PG-13
Characters: Kesshare
Warnings: Discussion of murder (of family members) and getting away with it, sociopathic POV.
Notes: Constructive criticism welcome, as always. Last Patriarch Purple!
In the end, it’s all about appearances.
Oh, people can suspect all they want--and, of course, they do. It seems almost a hobby of the court, to gossip about just how accidental a significant death was. But gossip and suspicion count for nothing against a carefully-painted picture of innocence, of mere mischance, of gratitude for a sudden windfall.
Kesshare is not any kind of performer, nor is she flamboyant--she prides herself on her discretion. But Kesshare is, nonetheless, a master of manipulating others’ perceptions.
And, after three carefully planned, carefully presented murders, Kesshare is a master of appearances.
