Joy stretched happily, and sighed into the sheets. She was pleasantly sore all over, with hickies on her breasts and neck, and her thighs still aching from stretching around various people's hips. And there were still naked people in various groups and piles lying all over her apartment.

All in all, an extremely good night.

She rolled over and threw an arm over Lindy, who roused enough to glare at her. "Move over, you're hot."

"Yes, I am, thank you." Joy snuggled into her ex-girlfriend's shoulder and nosed at her neck. "Did you have fun?"

"Didn't you hear me screaming?" Lindy ran a hand up Joy's spine and kissed her hairline. "I had a lot of fun, thanks."

"Good." Joy lifted a head and looked around again. Everyone was smiling, cuddled together, happy and warm and fucked-out, friends and lovers and ex-lovers and all of them people she loved, somewhere in her soul.

"You know," Lindy said, already sleepy again, "some people would say an orgy with like ninety percent of the people you know is weird."

"Some people don't have any fun," Joy said, and nuzzled into her collarbone.

Happy birthday to her.
