I thought you'd like this. Also, in terms of Free Candy AU, Mel is pretty much the only character of mine where it could work without basically making him a pod person. Because Isshiri and his family are so defined by Kesshare's personality and Ulore's attack, and Sorell wouldn't be king and probably wouldn't marry Nida and none of his kids would exist, and Deshell would never find Selmid, and Taz would be hopelessly bored in a Free Candy AU.
