Bubblegum Pink #8, Summertime Blues #7, Fever Red #8
Name: shadowsong26
Story: Lady Luck
'Verse: Feredar
Colors: Bubblegum Pink #8. Coloring, Summertime Blues #7. Unfulfilled, Fever Red #8. muscle ache
Supplies and Materials: graffiti (lint roller: Kat's question, Riluke: do you ever wish you were legitimate?), photography, miniature, canvas, brush (maverick), pastels (my current gen + romance card B1 "choosing sides"), glue ("You feel as if the world is responding to your big heart in a big way today and you are excited about the prospects...your good intentions seem to overpower most problems before they even happen.")
Word Count: 100
Rating: PG-13
Characters: Riluke
Warnings: References to familial death, stigma against bastards
Notes: Constructive criticism welcome, as always.
Sometimes, Riluke wished she was a princess. She wished it so hard she ached, drawing pictures of herself wearing Aunt Mina's circlet.
But as she got older, she wished it less. 'Cause the good parts weren't worth being the center of attention. Riluke was too smart for glamour. Or maybe, unlike Aunt Kesshare, the wrong kind of smart.
And as her legitimate family members started dying, Riluke was convinced she was lucky. She didn't need a circlet for power, and being Princess Riluke instead of just Lady was more trouble than it was worth.
