We just watched Blood and Chrome last night (after I spent all day on the BSG wiki trying to ensure that at least chunks of this AU aren't catastrophically laughable!) and it wasn't disappointing! It also felt like it had a few tropes that were "O_o"-inducing (but played around with others) and a few points that were left dangling in a weird way, but overall it was pretty satisfying.

Overall I just now need to know that someone has written fanfiction of young!Adama and reboot!Kirk having a bro-off or something. They're essentially the same character!
