That being said, Keta was never very close to either of her parents, not the way some of her siblings were. She was close enough to her mother to be aware of her politics and say nothing, but not close enough to agree with them. But she's not like Sola, who's clearly off blazing her own trail and making friends with everyone, or Mellir, who's viewed as a terminal screwup. She's just sort of...there, quiet, in the background, her whole life.
