Halloween Orange
Name: Charley
Story: Golden, Broken Or Lost
Colors: Halloween Orange: Blood burns like fire and it always burns through
Rating: PG-13 (Blood and kissing)
Notes: More fairytale girls and travel. I am possibly going to work on the noel all of this takes place in during July but we will see. For now, I am going to try and crank out snippets that I know won't fit into the actual story for this because....It is useful? I don't know. XD
She kisses her hard on the mouth, her lips tasting of blood and honey, her eyes speaking secrets of travel.
Cinderella doesn't move at first, her body frozen in the moment. Her hands shift of their own accord though, wrapping long nimble fingers around the girl in red's shoulders.
Red, she thinks t herself. Red like the blood, red like roses.
Roses prick, she tells herself. Does this girl bite?
"I don't," she whispers to her. "Not unless you ask me to."
And she thinks about that, thinks of asking her to bite but soon enough she's swept up in another kiss, blood and honey filling her mouth until she's choking with it.
Pulling away, she coughs, swallowing down more than she intended to.
"Who are you," she ask. Her heart is beating fast and she's not sure she wants to know. This girl, this stranger in the red cloak who's beautiful and odd has come to her in the night, come when her prince is fast asleep and she's wandering the gardens.
"I've come to show you something new," she says, grinning with teeth that look too sharp to be in the mouth of such a pretty girl.
"New," she repeats. "Something....I don't ant to see anything new, I'm happy here."
"But you could be happier," she offers. "I could help you be that way. I could get the voices to be quiet."
Cinderella gasps, her eyes wide. How did she know? Was she some kind of witch? Was she a creature she didn't know of?
Those sharp teeth flash in her mind and the taste of blood and honey rises in the back of her throat.
I'm like you," the red hooded girl says. "I hear them too, that's how I know. There are others too. People who hear them, who are trying to find a way to get them to stop. I know what you're going through."
Her heart beats faster and she wonders if she should trust her, thinks about the morals her mother instilled within her. But....
But he knows of the voices and she says she hears them too.
"This isn't a trap," the girl assures. "I promise you."
Cinderella picks a rose, handing it to the other. "Bleed," she orders. "Bleed and show me what you are."
She nods, collecting the flower and digging her palm into it's thorns. Blood creeps to the surface and she offers hr hand out. "I am what I say."
She moves, taking the hand and studying it. One of her own fingers swipes across the wound and brings it to her lips. Blood. No honey, nothing strange or magical, just blood.
"I'll go with you," she says finally. "I'll see this through but only because you were willing to bleed for me."
And then the girl moves, her cloak swirling around her as she wraps her arms around Cinderella's neck, pressing her mouth against hers, eager and pleased.
"A kiss to seal our fates," she says when she pulls back.
"A kiss to seal our fates," she repeats and returns it.

A kiss to seal our fates
I love that you invoke fairy tale tropes here along with the characters from those stories.

<333 Thank you. I am rather fond of the idea of weaving a lot of things together like that in the beginnings of this. I'm not sure a lot o it is going to make it's way into the novel itself but I am hoping that I can keep some of it.
