Supplies and Materials: Tapestry (Tea rose/eraser), eraser (Regency AU), pointillism, glitter ("All things truly wicked, start from innocence." – Ernest Hemingway), feathers ("It's too late to take it back."), modeling clay (free), stain (NINA. "You have changed so that I fail to recognise you.”), canvas, novelty beads (White Wedding, Billy Idol).
Word Count: 120
Rating: PG-13.
Summary: Gail and Ivy's biohazard.
Warnings: physical assault, sexual/sexist slurs.
Notes: I will finish this goddamn tapestry. I will.
Six months ago he called her an innocent, with a quizzing glass to his eye and a half-smile.
Five months ago he called her beautiful, and kissed the back of her hand.
Four months ago he called her sweetheart, darling, and waltzed her 'round the room.
Three months ago he called her the light of his life, his guiding star, and kissed her like he was drowning.
Two months ago he called her nothing at all, only grunted in her ear while she bit her lip at the pain.
One month ago he called her nothing, for he did not call on her once.
Five minutes ago he called her a whore, and slapped her.
She's not an innocent anymore.
