She didn't know why she kept following this girl.

As she left the college campus, Euphemia stalked her. She kept herself cloaked so the girl wouldn't get suspicious, but the little Asian girl with her kept looking back at her.

“Do you think she can see me?” Euphemia asked turning to Andras.

He took a drag of his cigarette. “I think you're being paranoid, Euphie. You're cloaked aren't you?”

Euphemia sped up a little as the girls walked further away.

“I am, but her friend keeps looking directly at me like she can see me.”

Andras threw down his cigarette and stomped on it. “I don't know, Euphie. Maybe she can see you.”

Euphemia growled and zeroed in on the other girl. She had her hand on the dark skinned girl's back and she was whispering something in her ear. The girl looked back, but in Andras's direction. So she at least couldn't see her.

“What the fuck is that other one?”

They turned on the corner. Euphemia pulled Andras along.

“Look Euphie, maybe the other girl is aware of paranormals? I think we should just go back to the college and you choose another girl or something.”

Euphemia kept her eye on the dark skinned girl. She was wearing a skirt. It wasn't too long, but not too short either. She had beautiful legs. Euphemia licked her lips. She just knew this girl would taste delicious. She smelled like tiger lilies and cinnamon. She could just taste her blood on her lips.

“Euphie?” Andras said waving his hand in front of her face.

She slapped it away. “What?”

“I think we should leave,” Andras said putting his hands in his pockets.

“I'm not leaving until I've tasted her,” Euphemia said walking ahead of him. She looked around.

“Oh fuck she's gone inside?”

Andras came up behind her and put his hand on her shoulder.

“Euohie, you've never chased after prey this much. Just let it go,” Andras said softly.

“Fuck that!” Euphemia said angrily. “I will taste her. If I can get her alone where I can compel her, then she'll be mine.”

“Damn Euphie, your eyes are turning red. Haven't you eaten anything?”

Euphemia turned on her heel.

“I should slap you for asking that stupid ass question,” Euphmeia growled.

Andras laughed. “Well what? You should have grabbed something on the way here or something. Don't starve yourself over one insignificant human.”

Euphemia didn't say anything. But she knew he was right. She would have to have a bite.

“Look there's a pretty, young thing right there,” Andras said pointing out a young, redheaded girl walking her dog.

“Please, Andy. She looks she hasn't even hit puberty yet. I don't mess with those.”

Andras grinned and pulled her close to his side. Euphemia groaned but smiled anyway.

“We'll find you someone to eat. I know this club where all the collegiate girls hang out,” Andras said winking.

“Now you're talking my language.”
