Summary: Claire thinks about her life now that her husband is gone.

Notes: This takes place a few hours after Claire receives the news of Axel's death. I have a piece for that and the events leading up to it. I know I'm putting Claire through the ringer, but things will get better. Enjoy!
Claire looked out the window of the Serist Hospital in Alu. The last thing she remembered was hitting the ground when reality set in.
Axel was dead.
Her Axel was dead.
She had to take care of the finances, home, and their son Seth.
She looked over at Seth.
Seth sat in between Adam and Kia, gripping their hands and glared at the floor.
She had to raise Seth alone. Axel wouldn’t see Seth grow up or work or fall in love or anything they planned.
Axel was gone.
Claire lay back as the world started spinning again.
