Aaron once heard someone call orange juice "joy in a glass," and while he's pretty sure they really meant "sunshine in a glass," he can't help but think how accurate it is. If Joy was a color she'd be a brilliant orange, bright and happy and gleeful like a child, grabbing at the world with both enthusiastic hands.

She smiles at him now, handing over a glass, and it's irresistable, contagious. She's exhausting sometimes but it's a good exhausting, full of life and... well... joy.

He takes the glass and sips, sweet-sour tang lingering on his tongue, and smiles back.
