Summary: He can't paint Jack like that.
Warnings: none
Notes: I don't know why Jack's wandering half-naked around a forest. I've stopped asking.
A hot autumn on a college campus and Jack ambling through the trees, towel slung around his neck, swim trunks hanging low on his hips. Felix wants to paint him like that-- the long lines of his body, flip-flops stirring up debris on the forest floor, the droplets of water beaded on his skin.
He closes his eyes, takes a breath. He can't paint Jack like that. Everyone would know. But the memory is an itch under his skin, a breath he can't release, a story he can't tell.
His mind is wandering. Felix collects himself, and returns to work.

Man, the longing in here is practically tangible, and there's a lyrical quality to the words that suits this so, so beautifully.
Very, very nicely done; even more so in light of the fact that it's 100 words.
