There's not a lot of gentle in Angie's nature. Rayne knew that going in. She knew that most of their life together would be screaming hoarse and hard fucks and teeth clashing when they kiss, hickies on her throat and soreness between her legs.
She's okay with it. She likes it, feeling all that violence barely leashed, all that strength and anger controlled, Angie on edge but holding back, for her.
And sometimes, sometimes Angie is breathlessly tender, kissing her as if she's something fragile and precious he still can't believe is his.
Rayne smiles under his mouth, those times.
