Heart Gold #14, White Opal #8
Name: shadowsong26
Story: Comfort and Protection
'Verse: Feredar
Colors: Heart Gold #14. Love consists in desiring to give what is our own to another and feeling his delight as our own. - Emanuel Swedenborg, White Opal #8. Wandering
Supplies and Materials: photography, miniature, pastels (my current gen+romance card B2 "habits and routines"), canvas (984 FY), seed beads, novelty beads, oils, chalk
Word Count: 100
Rating: PG
Characters: Fesha
Warnings: Brief references to Selmid witnessing a murder
Notes: Constructive criticism welcome, as always. This takes place a few days after Homecoming
Today's market trip took longer than usual, as Fesha needed to ensure her new son had enough clothing that fit and wasn’t too worn. That accomplished, she was finally ready to head home.
And then she saw a stuffed sea serpent toy for sale. Ledam and Ensill hadn't been excluding him, but Selmid mostly kept to himself. He was still the frightened child Deshell had brought home, especially late at night. On a whim, she bought it. She couldn't erase what he’d seen, but something soft, whimsical and fierce enough to chase away his nightmares...
Yes. This would be perfect.
