Summary: Bernard forgets something while planning a party.
Warnings: mentions of a previous death
Notes: Bernard's close friend is Albert, but he was very close to Axel as well. Axel's death impacted more of their world which I will explain a little later on. I have to set up an index here soon. >< Well enjoy!
Bernard was ecstatic. Summer was near and it was time for their annual party. He had to call all the leaders, the caterers, set up the hotel, and organize many events for the children. He couldn’t wait to catch up with his friends and see how their kids were doing. He pulled out his phone to dial Axel’s number when it hit him.
Axel wouldn’t be at this party or any party that happened during the season.
He put his phone down as he swallowed the lump in his throat.
Bernard didn’t look forward to the party anymore.
