Summary: He's as determined as his Element.
“You know what this means.”
Alan looks up to the sky when he hears his Dragon’s voice in his head.
“Naigendra…”
There are a lot of emotions in his voice. Going from joy to fear to … an unknown strength and fire. It feels like butterflies in his stomach. And yet … more. Stronger. Powerful. A turmoil. Like a storm, raging through him.
His Dragon roars gently. Happy, satisfied, anticipating. It makes Alan chuckle softly and he shakes his head.
“Are you okay?”
Smiling he meets the worried eyes of his mother.
“Yeah. Everything is okay. More than okay even.”
He can see her confusion. Can hear the questions she will never ask. He sees her fear…
Placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder. “Don’t worry. Everything will turn out to be alright.”
His eyes shine. Smoldering. And there is a determined look on his face. One his mother has never seen before. Yet she knows what it means. She knows Destiny will be fulfilled soon. When the two of them finally meet.
