Red 10: Safe
Author: Kat
Title: Safe
Story: In the Heart
Colors: Red 10 (red light district).
Supplies and Materials: Eraser (EPIC PIRATE AU), miniature, feathers (We might hurt each other if we were together; but apart, we should be hurt much more and to less purpose. -Sidney Keyes.), seed beads, glitter (The job you have now makes you...), glue (You may be in for a treat today, since you actually get to enjoy the sweet comforts of what you have already created).
Word Count: 100.
Rating: PG.
Summary: Everyone's favorite barmaid.
Warnings: none.
Notes: Joy in the EPIC PIRATE AU. I know you were all burning to find out about her. Last red!
Joy works in tavern on the seamy side of Plymouth, which is why she's never afraid. She knows everyone, dockworkers and sailors, wives and blowsy prostitutes. They've all seen her dance, all bought a pint from her. Some of them have even slept with her.
She knows them, and they know her; her smile, her golden hair, her generous bosom and generous heart. She's always ready with a laugh or a shoulder to cry on, a helping hand for anyone in need. And they're always willing to help her.
Joy feels rather sorry for anyone who tries to hurt her.
