Once upon a time there were three little ghosts who lived in an abandoned castle by a large field. Then one day, renovators came to the castle! They were going to turn it into a hotel, so the three little ghosts had to leave.
They started off down the long dirt road that led through the fields, and came upon an abandoned barn. "This is good enough for me!" said the first little ghost, and floated inside, and began to haunt the barn.
The other two ghosts continued down the road until they came to an abandoned farmhouse. "This is good enough for me!" said the second little ghost, and floated inside, and began to haunt the farmhouse.
But the third little ghost pushed on, and what did he find on the other side of the field but another abandoned castle! This one was full of ghosts, and they welcomed the little ghost among them.
The next day, a ghost hunter came down the dirt road, and he came upon the abandoned barn, and his ghost detecting device began to beep. So he knocked on the door and called inside, "Little ghost, little ghost! Come with me to the city so that we can study you."
But the little ghost knew all about ghost hunters, so he answered back, "Boo! No way! Not by the wisps of my ectoplasmic form!"
Then the ghost hunter said, "I'll take you with me anyway." And he kicked down the door, threw down his ghost trap, and fired up his ghost-trapping gun, and zip zap zop! The little ghost got trapped in the ghost trap.
The ghost hunter packed up his trap with the little ghost inside it, and continued down the road. After a while, he came upon the abandoned farmhouse, and his ghost detecting device began to beep. So he knocked on the door and called inside, "Little ghost, little ghost! Come with me to the city so that we can study you."
But the second little ghost also knew all about ghost hunters, so he answered back, "Boo!
As he approached the second abandoned castle on the other side of the field, his ghost detecting device was going crazy! Beep beep beep beep beep! There were so many ghosts in the castle! But the ghost hunter, who was very brave, went right up to the castle and knocked on the door. "Oh ghosts, oh ghosts! Come with me to the city so that we can study you."
And all the ghosts in the castle cried out, "Boo! No way! Get out of here!"
It was very scary, but the ghost hunter kicked open the castle door, and threw down his ghost trap. "I will take some of you with me anyway!" he boasted, and now it was the ghosts who were scared.
But just as he was firing up his ghost-trapping gun, the third little ghost gathered up all his might, and with great concentration he managed to cut the chain that held up the great chandelier in the castle's great hall. It fell right on top of the ghost trap, smashing it to pieces, and the other two little ghosts escaped it unharmed.
Now even the brave ghost hunter was a little frightened. So once again all the ghosts in the castle gathered together to cry out in one voice, "Boo! Get out of here and never come back!"
The ghost hunter was so terrified that he turned right around and ran out of the castle, and never came back again. The castle came to be known as the most haunted place in all the land, and all the little ghosts lived there happily forever after.
The end.
