Ecru 10: my love, my saving grace
Author: Kat
Title: my love, my saving grace
Story: Shine Like It Does
Colors: Ecru 10 (equate)
Supplies and Materials: Graffiti (Lilith Faire Day 6: Rooms on Fire, Stevie Nicks), miniature, novelty beads ("Everybody says it can't be done/We drive each other crazy/But you're still the one/You make it hard to stay, harder to run." - "I'm Taking The Wheel", SHeDAISY)
Word Count: 100
Rating: PG
Summary: Charlotte and love.
Warning: none
Notes: Title from Elizabeth Bishop.
Charlotte used to believe in fairy tales. Well, she still did, just differently. But when she was young, she believed true love conquered all. That it was as simple as a kiss and a wedding. And when it wasn’t, she ran away.
She ran away from a lot of things, actually.
Now she knew love was work. It took effort to maintain her marriage. But.. part of her looked at Daniel and saw magic, saw a prince, saw a fairy tale. They had their moments of incomparable joy.
It was a different kind of fairy tale, that was all.
