Summary: She really thought Jack might be different.

Notes: Jack's exes, take one.
Somewhere deep down Samantha always knew he would leave her. Everyone did. But she really thought Jack might be different. So loving, so kind, she really thought he could fix her.
The worst of it was that she could feel it working. Every day he stayed she got more comfortable, more confident. She did everything he wanted, everything she thought he wanted, anything at all, for them. She did know she was broken, but if he would just stay he would fix her and they’d be perfect. If he just stayed.
But he gave up. He left her. Everyone did.
