Cerise #9, Lapis Lazuli #15
Name: shadowsong26
Story: Until
'Verse: Feredar
Colors: Cerise #9. Sunny day, Lapis Lazuli #15. aloof
Supplies and Materials: graffiti (Lilith Faire Day 4a: Main Stage), photography, miniature, brush (fugitive), oils, glue ("You may have been holding back more often lately, trying to be strong for the people around you or yourself. This overflow of emotion could be caused by something sad or happy. Whichever it is, you never know when something will tug on your heartstrings")
Word Count: 100
Rating: PG-13
Characters: Mel
Warnings: References to enslavement and a serial killer.
Notes: Constructive criticism welcome, as always.
Mel had known a resistance movement existed, but he’d never planned on joining it. After everything that--everything with the Captain, he’d kept his head down.
Until he couldn’t.
Even after his arrest, he hadn’t joined. Hadn’t even made friends with the other captive mages. He’d stuck to the same pattern--head down, in the background.
Until Isshiri came into his life, like the sun coming out after rain. All his reasons for holding back suddenly didn’t matter anymore.
Mel had never intended to join the revolution.
Until, one day that winter that started just like every other, he did.
